Vad är då dessa två? Så här skriver Rotary International:

What is NGSE?
New Generations Service Exchange is a short-term, customizable program for university students and professionals up to age 30.
  • Last from a few weeks to six months
  • Can be arranged for individuals or groups
  • Need not be reciprocal
Who can apply?
University students and professionals up to age 30 including current and former Rotaractors and former Interactors, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards participants, and Youth Exchange students — are encouraged to apply. You don’t have to be a member of Rotary to participate in an exchange.

Rotex
Youth Exchange has existed since 1929 and without a doubt, Rotary Youth Exchange Alumni has existed as the first exchange students came back from their exchanges.
Rotex is a society of past Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) alumni that engages with current Inbounds and Outbounds to better their exchange experience overall. Rotex acts as a middleman between Rotary Clubs and exchange students through supporting Rotarians throughout the RYE program via mentoring students on proper etiquette while on exchange, organizing trips and events for Outbounds, Inbounds, and Rebounds, and ultimately being the voice for RYE exchange students in many cities, districts, and countries in the Rotary world. We see Rotexers as potential future Rotarians and therefore aim to develop the next generation of Rotarians who have first-hand Rotary experience.
